Already, we are into March and this year is flying by! What arrives in March, is Mother’s Day – a celebration that I absolutely love to share with my family! I love sharing the love on this day, especially to my Mum who is amazing and does so much for us and the kids. I love buying something special and sentimental for Mum each year, or something I just know she will love! With that being said, I have pulled together a Mother’s Day Gift Guide to share with you all, on my top finds this year!
Is you Mama going away this year?! If so, then why not consider a beach towel for her. Tesalate offer such beautiful designs and not only that, but these towels are sand free. What isn’t more annoying that relaxing on the beach, with sand EVERYWHERE! Fear not, as a sand free towel may just be what she is after. Since the launch of Tesalate, the founders have been selling out in over 80 countries and even been featured in Vogue! With over 25 beautiful designs to choose from, this really is a lovely gift and one that any Mum would be happy with!
What isn’t to love about a fresh set of wine glasses?! Vonshef offer a set of 2 wine glasses in this lovely brushed gold finish, making drinking wine seem even more enjoyable! Perfect if your Mum enjoys a glass of wine and would love to spruce up her glasses cabinet. I particular love a long elegant stem on a wine glass, and these have just that. The brushed satin exterior and interior makes this set of wine glasses even more attractive! Perfect gift to pair with a bottle of your Mum’s favourite wine!
If your Mum isn’t a wine lover, then does she love Coffee?! There’s something a little bit special about making a fresh cup of authentic coffee, and with this beautiful copper designed cafetiere, your Mum can make up to 8 cups! A lovely addition to any kitchen, that is on trend and simple and easy to use! You can even brew tea if your Mum prefers a tea!
How about some beautiful cakes to go with that Vonshef cafetière?! Hayley’s Cake Box is local to Coventry and she offers some beautiful cakes with a difference for this Mother’s Day! How about this gorgeous cupcake bouquet?! Priced at only £10, this is a really lovely gift that is definitely the wow factor! Hayley offer’s an array of other items for this Mother’s Day – even a biscuit bouquet! You can find her on Facebook and Instagram – get placing your orders quick!
These environmentally friendly earrings are made out of cork and therefore gorgeously lightweight. All the earrings on offer at TT’s Studio are Vegan friendly too and offer that extra added detail by being hand designed. These are perfect if your Mama is into her jewellery and with the added bonus of being sustainable – appealing to so many of us at the moment! I for one really love these!
I think any Mum loves a perfume, but what about a 70’s throwback?! Aqua Citra is a perfume that was very popular back in the day, and has recently made a pretty big comeback – definitely a nostalgic treat! Aqua Citra is a sharp and catchy scent with top notes of a bergamot, lemon, verbena and star anise. It’s a fresh scent that would be perfect for spring and summer day time outings or for an approaching holiday.
If lemon scents isn’t your thing, then how about this faithful recreation of the original perfume from the 60’s and 70’s – Aqua Manda.
Giving off a lingering scent, this perfume is refreshing and made with its own essential oils of mandarin, ginger, lavender, patchouly and cinnamon. Given the mix, this perfume gives off a spicy and musky scent which I happen to love!
Both these fragrances have also been approved by the original creator, Christopher Collins, who acted an adviser on the relaunch.
And there you have it! I hope my guide offered some inspiration for this Mother’s Day!
