Whether its dressing up for a night out or wanting to play it cool in a comfy tracksuit, Femme Luxe does offer both ends of the spectrum. I am pretty much a home girl and love nights in. But I do love going out with family and friends and love planning my outfits from jumpsuits, dresses, to co-ords. With that being said, I wanted to show you a Night out vs Night in post showing you what Femme Luxe has to offer.
It wasn’t hard to find the outfits for my ‘night out’ and I was instantly drawn to the jumpsuits on offer. A jumpsuit is my stable ‘go to’ outfit as I think they can look classy and it also means that you don’t have to fake tan your legs! (I hear ya girls!) But it also means comfort and no digging in around the waist, especially when going out for a meal.
I firstly chose this wide legged black jumpsuit. It has an almost snakeskin/crocodile effect on the material which slightly shimmers in the light. With one long sleeve it gives off an elegant look yet still feels a little sexy showing off some skin!
There is a belt around the waist which offers a nice touch and I just love the wide legged trousers. At only £17.99 I feel that the quality and style of this jumpsuit is far more expensive, and I would expect to see this priced higher. I am 5ft 4 and with high heels, the trousers were a perfect length. However, if you are shorter than this, you may want to consider taking up the trousers as it is not available in petite.
Secondly, I chose this tan/stone coloured jumpsuit. This isn’t my favourite and I do feel it is rather clingy (it looks far better on the model!) However, I love the cut off neckline which again shows a little skin without it looking too OTT. I would really need to consider what undies I would wear with this as it pretty much shows everything underneath! So, opt for a smooth bra and thong for this one! Not badly priced either at £17.99
I fell in love with this tracksuit as soon as I saw it on the Femme Luxe store website. However, can I pull it off? Firstly, I love oversized tops, and this wasn’t. And can I pull off a crop top at the age of 33?! I decided to go for it anyway – what’s not to lose?! This Femme Luxe tracksuit was available in three colours (love the option of different colours!)
I decided to go for the grey which I felt suited me the best. The tracksuits bottoms are really high-waisted and super comfy and are a win win for me, even if the top may not have suited me. But luckily enough, I felt comfortable in the top and really love how it looks together. It’s slightly off the shoulder so I recommend wearing a strapless bra with this one. The joggers are also so high-waisted that you don’t really have to show much midriff at all if you wish. This tracksuit is currently priced at only £18.99 so a bargain.
For a tired mama, you can never have too many lounge wear sets! Finally, I chose this ribbed lounge wear set despite the model on the femme luxe site wearing it with heels. I suppose this could be dressed up or down, but for me I’ll be wearing it for nights in. Again, I chose this knitted lounge wear set in grey and liked the look of the high waisted leggings with this. They are fitted but are super soft and do not feel clingy at all. With the roll neck and slightly oversized top, this lounge wear co-ord set is perfect for a girl’s night in or a trip to the cinema! Priced at only £19.99!
And there you have it! I night out vs a night in outfit haul from Femme Luxe! I must admit, I really am not very body confident despite what people may think. I can overly criticise myself and think I am not good enough. And I know I am not the only one out there. I suppose I could go off on a tangent here, but I’ll leave that for another post. With that being said, I do enjoy showing you guys my latest hauls and I am very lucky to be able to do this working with some great brands. I am eternally grateful.
