I am sure most of us are working from home now for the foreseeable future, or for at least part of our working week. The questions on many lips is, what can I wear if I am working from home? For me the key is comfort when working from home. I hate anything that digs in or is uncomfortable, especially when I need to sit on a zoom call for a couple of hours. And let’s face is, if your not on any zoom meetings and no one is going to see you, what is there to worry about?
I know what your all thinking! Pyjamas and dressing gown all the way! I hear you, but is this really the best outfit to wear when working from home? Nightwear can slip into daywear and it can make us feel groggy, not fresh and whilst pyjamas are comfortable, there are stylish outfits to wear when your working from home!
Femme luxe offered some items for us to try – let’s check them out!
This is the closest loungewear set I could find that felt similar to wearing pyjama’s. In fact, not only is this a go-to working from home outfit, it also doubles up as a loungewear set to wear when chilling out of an evening. The tracksuit is oversized so offers that complete comfort feel. The jumper is crew neck so if hoodies are not your thing, I would go towards this type of loungewear set.
Ah comfort is key! And this tracksuit delivers. It is ultimately soft and is so comfortable. The tracksuit is a summery lilac colour with high wasted joggers and a cropped hoodie (not too cropped) so perfect for those warmer months. The material is really soft to touch and is currently one of my favourite tracksuits to wear when working from home. The cropped hoodie has drawstrings as well as the joggers. If you want to wear loungewear at home but want to steer clear of feeling like your wearing pyjamas, this is definitely a tracksuit you’d want to consider.
This is the perfect dress if you fancy dressing up on a mild spring day. It’s lightweight, floaty and with no ‘digging in’ in sight! The print is perfectly on trend at the moment and if you have a zoom meeting that requires you to get out of that tracksuit, then this is a great option for you. It is unfortunately only offered up to size 14, which is rather restricting as this dress would look amazing for all women.
If you prefer a more fitted tracksuit, then this one does just that. The top is a hoody style and the joggers and fitted and a much tighter feel that the others mentioned about, however still remain comfortable. As they are high waisted joggers, there is not pinching or digging in that a pair of jeans can cause. The colour is a lovely subtle colour, perfect for working from home.
And there you have it! A lovely selection of outfits to pick out from your wardrobe if you are working from home. Does any of them tickle your fancy?
