#ACEforschool Challenge with ACE stain remover

If you are parents of a child that is of school age, you will know the hell that comes with their school uniform and the array of stains after a busy day at school.  Whilst I know it means they are being creative and having fun, it isn’t that fun trying to remove the stains out of them.  The white shirts and polo shirts show up a multitude of stains after a day at school.  We have the likes of paint (school promise its the type of paint can be washed off…it isn’t!) dinner stains and the worst – glue!

I think we are all lucky enough now that most supermarkets offer school uniforms at affordable prices.  This gives us peace of mind knowing that, actually, if the kids do come home with shirts stained to the max, it doesn’t cost the earth to replace them.  Still, money is money right?!  And if I can get away with not spending more, then I would.

ACE and it’s magical powers

For the past two weeks, I have been trialling out the latest stain busting remover ACE.  I have ACE  for colours for our washing machine and ACE stain remover for getting rid of those nasty stains.  I had never heard of the brand ACE before so I was intrigued to see how well it worked.

ACE stain remover is a spray that you use directly onto your garment.  Prior to putting the item into the washing machine, directly spray the stain using ACE stain remover.  Leave for a short while then wash as normal.  It is helpful if you spray the stain straight way and on both sides of the garment for the best results.

I have to say I have been using the ACE stain remover on the carpet.  My son spilt ketchup on the carpet and immediately I used the remover and voila – it came out!!  I was really impressed!

ACE for colours is to be used directly into your washing machine.  It works on food stains, body soils, grease, drinks, vegetable oils, trapped dirt, cosmetics and outdoor stains!  It’s pretty impressive stuff! I have been using it when washing the kids uniform and find that the shirts are coming out lovely and fresh looking.  B’s collars can often be brown/grey and I have noticed that this has reduced!  ACE for colours is soft and gentle on the clothes so you can even use on silk, cashmere and wool!  It can also prevent bleeding of the colours too, which is great for that stripy football kit!

For the BEST results, use ACE stain remover first on the garment, then when washing, use ACE with colours.  I have been really impressed with the results and so far.  We have had removal of biro, paint and gravy stains!  To help with your stains at home, head to ACE clean UK to find out more.  ACE can also be found in Tesco, Sainsbury’s Morrisons and Waitrose.
