Here we are again we another look into Femme Luxe Finery and what they have on offer this autumn and winter! Whilst I love love love Summer, I really do enjoy the season change. And when theres a new season, it means theres a new wardrobe! And I don’t mean new purchases, but getting out that autumn and winter wear out of that box underneath your bed or the loft, means it can feel like a new wardrobe!
I’ve been checking out the change over on the Femme Luxe online store website and immediately I saw what I love the most – chunky knits! Styling up your leggings or jeans with a chunky knit can be vital in this weather – whilst it is cold outside, I can still feel super warm doing the school run in a huge coat. Layering it up can be a great alternative, and Femme Luxe have a load of jumpers, cardigans and gilets to peruse.
It didn’t take me long when checking out the knitwear selection to come across a jumper a little bit different.
Priced at £14.99, I thought this was excellent value for a stylish yet practicable jumper. Available in cream, this jumper is long in length at the back but shorter at the front with a tie which you can knot at the front. It stood out for me as I havent seen a jumper like this before, and it looked comfortable, but still stylish and smart to wear out. This Cream jumper fitted perfectly as is a true fit to size. The quality was also really good and the material was neither too thick or too thin. I teamed up mine with ripped dark wash jeans and black winter boots for our meal out as a family a few weeks ago.
Also in my haul I spotted this lime split side jumper.
This jumper is a great oversized addition to add to your wardrobe this winter. If you love chunky knits but nothing thats too heavy, then this is perfect as whilst it is knitted, it isn’t too warm to wear. Priced at £15.99, I think this is a fair price for a jumper that is essential for your winter wardrobe. And the side splits is also a great stylish extra that adds a little glam to this jumper. Perfect with black leggings and chunky trainers. I think styling this with a large black scarf, this outfit would be complete.
And if lime isn’t your colour, dont worry, this knitted jumper is available if other colours!
As soon as I saw this camel waterfall coat, I immediately wanted it. And only £18.99 for a coat, what a bargain! I was concerned about the quality for such a cheap price, but I couldn’t fault it and I have had so many comments about this coat – its a winter wardrobe must have!
This coat is puuuurfect if you hate wearing heavy coats and prefer something a little lighter. And what’s fab about this style coat is that, if camel isn’t your colour, they have a whole host of different colours to choose from. Some of the colours include black, plum, khaki, navy and and red. For the price, I think you could have a coat in every colour! To note, the coat is quite long, so if your on the shorter side like me (5ft 3.5inchs) then you may want to think about where you prefer your coat to lie. But I really love the longer length!
I also ordered a beautiful grey fur gillet. However, unfortunately this item was out of stock. As with most online stores, there is nothing that they can do about it as it’s unlike buying off the shelves. When my order arrived, the item was missing but on my invoice, it stated that the item was out of stock. I was disappointed that I couldn’t have been notified earlier as this would have prepared any buyer before hand, especially if they were waiting for a particular item for an event or celebration.
Overall, it’s been a positive autumnal haul from Femme Luxe. They have such a huge range of clothing with something to suit most people. And what’s even better is that their clothing items are at competitive prices!
