Baby Boys Nursery/Room Tour featuring a Cloud Wall Sticker

When I was pregnant with Baby K, I used to search Youtube and Blogs for Nursery/Room tours to get inspiration for our new arrival.  We did not know we were expecting a boy, but still, I knew I wanted a white, fresh looking room.  It fell into place that his room would be cloud themed – it was and still is spot on trend, its simplistic, clean looking and as Baby K’s room is the smallest bedroom, I knew this manageable look would be perfect for the size.  I love sourcing themes and I came across many items to add to his room, including bunting and an amazing cloud wall sticker.

Nursery interior

I love bunting as it can look so effective.  Baby K is lucky to have not one but two in his room; one with simple white clouds and the other is his name.  His name bunting includes clouds and stars with whites, greys and a subtle hint of blue.  As we didn’t go for nursery wallpaper this time, we felt the gentle tones of the bunting stood out a lot more.

We also sourced a cloud night-light which sits on the window sill.  It’s really handy for when he goes to bed and needs that comfort, as well as us being able to see him when he check on him during the night.  We also found some fabulous (and study) cloud shelves.  These are deep enough to put items on and also have that ‘floating look’.  They are attached to the wall with super sticky back plastic that is provided on the back of the shelves.  I think they look fab!

We have a gliding chair in his room for feeding and reading.  It looked super bare so I found a simple star cushion that looks lovely against the white of his room.  It also provides some support when feeding.  We also had Baby K’s hand and foot print’s imprinted in clay when he was 7 weeks old.  And hanging off his wardrobe is this ‘sweet dreams’ hanger which is so cute.

Cloud Wall Sticker by Stickerscape

I just love wall stickers and feel that they can transfer any room without having to decorate.  All my children have wall stickers in their bedrooms so it only seemed fitting that when Stickerscape offered me the chance to review one of their products, I chose this beautiful cloud wall sticker.  I felt Baby K’s room was missing something, so having this cloud sticker included felt perfect to complete his room.

Baby nursery stickers are so on trend and can add fun features to any child’s room.  Stickerscape is all about providing high quality, gorgeous wall stickers especially for children.  It’s a family run business based in Hampshire and their stickers are proudly manufactured in the UK.  This means they are more than happy to take on bespoke commissions or personalise designs to suit your needs and get that perfect finish you require.

Their wall stickers are made from the highest quality materials, which means it’s very easy to remove the sticker when the time comes for a change (and no walls are damaged in the process!)  Their website is full of different designs from baby nursery wall stickers to Peppa Pig, Thomas the Tank Engine and princess stickers.

Delivery and Application

My order arrived super quick – the next day in fact.  It was securely sent in a large cardboard tube.  Inside, the sticker was wrapped in blue tissue paper – what a lovely touch!

With Baby K’s room, we planned where we wanted his cloud wall sticker to go, then followed the instructions on the sheet provided.  It was extremely easy to apply (normally my husband and I have different views on how an instruction sheet reads) but all went smoothly.  We used a debit/credit card to ensure the transfer paper released the sticker then once applied, smoothed out the cloud sticker with our hands.

Final Verdict

We are so impressed with the finished look!  It really completes Baby K’s cloud themed nursery and I just love how it looks with the cloud shelves on the one wall.  Baby K is a little too young to give me his opinion on what he thinks (I’m pretty sure he loves it!) but my other two children thinks it looks super cute!  The price of this cloud wall sticker is just £14 so amazing value!
