So, do you want a subscription box that offers mystery things to do in your region?

This month we are BACK and reviewing another month’s worth of Buckt activities!

So, what was inside our August 2019’s Buckt subscription box?

Inflatable Course – The Monster

Located at Birmingham’s NEC, this inflatable course was an adult’s only experience offering far more than just inflatable fun!  This was a party playground!  Not only was there a 300 metre long inflatable obstacle course, but there was also a DJ, food and drinks located at the venue!

The RRP price for this activity was £25 each – so a complete bargin to be included in the Buckt box this month!

Twenty20 Cricket Match

RRP at £19 per adult, this was another absolute steal provided in our Buckt subscription box!  Edgbaston Cricket ground is our home ground for cricket in Birmingham. And it was a real treat to experience our first cricket match thanks to Buckt.  Buckt allows it’s subscribers to select a cricket match out of several dates (which is so handy and they often provide this flexibility with some activities).  We chose a summer evening on a Friday and had a ball watching the Bears win!  Not only was there cricket, but there was food stalls, kids entertainment and a GIN BAR!!!  And kids go free, so we were able to experience this as a family!

Six Inch Sub Plus a Side – Subway

Who loves a sub?  In August’s activity subscription box, Buckt included a six inch sub!  What’s not to love?  Located in three subways across Birmingham, you could pick a sub of your chose along with a side.  Grab lunch on the go!  Valued at £6.

Coffin Works Tour

Bringing a bit of culture and history to this month, Buckt were offering tickets to The Coffin Works museum located in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.  The Coffin Works is ranked as one of the top ten things to do in Birmingham according to Trip Advisor.  It is also said to be a museum brimming with artefacts from years gone by. Tickets were priced at £7.70 RRP.

Open Water Swimming – Dosthill Quarry

What a perfect month of summer to offer open water swimming as a buckt activity?!  Located in Tamworth, this is one of the top outdoor swimming spots in the country.  And it’s great to see such a fun and adventurous activity offered in the subscription box.  Priced at £7, this again is a steal and makes this subscription box well worth it’s money!

As I have mentioned in previous posts, the price of a Buckt duo box is only £25.  A single box is £17.  So as you can see above, you clearly get your money’s worth!  However, if your new to Buckt and want to try a DUO box (for two people) use my code

Have fun!

What a great idea! I don’t live near Birmingham, so it’s not something for us, but I hope more areas will do things like this. There’s often so much interesting stuff on your doorstep and you just don’t know about it!

  2. Matt says:

Some great activities to do around Birmingham here!

About

Hi and welcome to The Willow Tree. I’m Michelle, also known as Shel and I am a mama to three beautiful crazy kids – I have two handsome boys and a wild and wonderful girl.

I really wanted a concrete place to share my love for travel, in particular Disney and offer my readers a chance to gain some knowledge around what we love to do as a family of 5.

I share our family adventures which include days out, travel advice and tips, holiday reviews, restaurant visits and of course, our love for Disney, including Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World.

Life is about creating memories, and here we are sharing them with you

xoxo
