As a parent, we always worry about being out and about with our children. Whether you child is a ‘runner’ or not, it is so easy to lose sight of them in busy places or they can lose sight of you. It can take seconds. When I was asked to review Butler and Grace‘s ID bracelet range, I knew this would be perfect for my 4 year old W. When out about, she tends to hold my hand. However, as any anxious parent would be, I get terrified that I may lose her. This is the case for all of my children. However, B is now 8 and doesn’t wander off. Baby K is mostly in his pushchair or on reins. So I felt that this review would be perfect for W.
Butler and Grace offer a range of stylish and fashionable bracelets to fit any wrist size. The range is suitable for both adults and children and come in an array of styles and designs. The range covers ID bracelets, medical bands and bracelets as well as necklaces. They offer personalised jewellery too where you can add any message you wish. As none of my family members has a medial condition, I felt it was only fitting to choose an ID bracelet for W.
Founded by Tanya Butler, Butler and Grace wanted to offer customers stylish jewellery yet still raising awareness of people’s medical conditions or identities. When choosing the ID bracelet for W, Tanya was really helpful, offering guidance of sizing and really letting me chose what design and style of ID bracelet would work well for W.
As W has tiny wrists, I decided to go for a fusion style ID bracelet. This is great as it has a knotted clasp which offers more flexibility. I felt it would allow the bracelet to grow with her wrist too, therefore lasting longer. As W favourite colour is pink (of course!) I chose the baby pink colour. The website offers an array of colours, sometimes a selection of two intertwined into the bracelet which I thought looked great! You can also choose what to have inscribed on to the stainless steel tag. I chose to have W’s and my mobile number.
The bracelet arrived super quick and W couldn’t wait to give it a try. Not long after the arrival W’s ID bracelet, we were off to a family Festival in Stratford in Avon. This was the perfect location for W to wear it. It was going to be busy, with lots of stalls and attractions. Whilst W does stay close, if she did ever wonder off, at least I know that my contact details were on her ID bracelet should this happen.
I honestly think this is a fantastic concept and creation. Whether you want it for a medial condition or to have an ID bracelet for your child, it’s a great way to share awareness and give your children some extra security. However, in our case, it certainly isn’t something I will rely on and doesn’t make me less vigilant or less observant. But it does offer some peace of mind knowing that I can be contacted should W ever get lost or wander off.
I found Butler and Grace to be a really easy website to navigate and the ID bracelet is really light yet not flimsy and it does fit on W’s wrist lovely. I am so happy to share my review with my readers and hope to encourage others to look into purchasing one of these for themselves or their children. The price of W’s bracelet is £28.45
