Cupid Box – A Date Night In Subscription Box

What’s one of the biggest challenges as a couple when you are parents?  For us, it’s about spending quality time together, just us too.  As my husband Matt, works shifts, it can prove difficult to spend evenings together in the week.  Having said that, once the weekend comes along, we really appreciate our time.  Sometimes, having a date night out can be rare…and expensive. With the juggle of babysitters, time and money, it can prove a difficult task for some.  This is why Cupid Box subscription box may just work for you…

Cupid Box is a monthly subscription box offering couples the perfect date night in.  More often that not, couples are drawn to watching TV (which is all good and well when your glued to a Netflix series!)  But what about actually spending time together?  Sometimes, we can need a little bit of encouragement.  Cupid box does just this.  Each month, you’ll be send out a box of goodies to have a date night in.  No need to worry about spending big bucks and no need to worry about getting a babysitter.  Your date night comes to you!

All of our goodies inside our cupid box, including pancake mix, painting items, and a 3D puzzle

I was intrigued to see what arrived in our first subscription box and was pleasantly surprised to see that there was going to be a theme across the months ahead!  Our first month was based on spending a date in Paris.  And therefore, our box was focused on love and all things French!

What did we receive in our Cupid box?

As this boxed was themed all about the love of Paris and beyond, here is what we received:

3d puzzle of the Notre DameJuliet Andrews candle provided in the cupid box

Paints and colour by numbers provided in our cupid box

A map and writing activity of paris in our subscription box

I just loved the theme behind the box!  Having never been to Paris before, I was excited to see what I was going to learn about the beautiful city of love.  So along with a lovely meal and a bottle of fizz, we planned to have out very own date night in, courtesy of Cupid Box!

What I loved most about Cupid box is that it took us away from the norm.  We sat at the dining table, lit the beautiful scented candle and did activities we normally wouldn’t do together.  We jokingly bickered our way through building our 3D puzzle of Notre Dame, laughed at our compliments and took it in turn to flip the pancakes!

Honestly, this is a great way to do something different at home and it really doesn’t cost the earth.  At £25 per month, you and your partner can have a date night in with a difference, and actually learn a few things a long the way too!  (I didn’t know there was an YSL museum in Paris!)  Furthermore, if you subscribe over a period of time, your receive a reduced price – bonus!  It is a great way to try new things without leaving the comfort of your home.  I think you’ll be impressed – give it a try!  Or if not, how about a gift for someone else?

*This is a collaborative post.  I was gifted a cupid box in exchange for this review.  As always, all words and options are my own*

What a brilliant idea. Owing to the fact that I still feed the toddler to sleep, we never get a night out so this would be such a good thing for us!

  4. I think that is such a great idea. It definitely encourages you to something different with your partner, and you don’t need to go out to find it. I think it would be a lovely way to spend an evening
