I find horses facinating, beautiful and I am slightly in awe of them. Whilst I haven’t had the chance to experience horse riding, Missy seems really interested and is willing to try anything once! Missy was thrilled when she got invited to draw her dream horse as part of a campaign with Petplan Equine. I have been pretty lucky that none of my kids have asked for a ‘pet horse’ yet – so this was a perfect addition to Missy’s ever growing plush toys, without breaking the bank!
Missy’s mission set by Petplan Equine was to draw and design the most imaginative and wonderful pet horse, whether that be with crazy and bright colours or with an addition of a unicorn horn – most girls dream right?! She was super excited to get started and picked some surprising colours to design her horse. Not being too crazy, Missy created a horse that had brightly coloured hooves, her favourite coloured mane and stars to complete the look.
We sent off her drawing prior to our Disney World holiday and upon our return, Missy had her dream horse waiting for her! Missy’s super styled star horse now had a name – Rainbow! Rainbow had been transformed into a gorgeous soft toy for her to cherish, and the likeliness to her drawing was spot on – Missy was amazed!
It’s amazing to see the detail that has gone into creating this horse, both on Missy’s part as well as Rainbow being transformed into a soft toy. The stars are her favourite part and she tells me that each star is for her and her 2 brothers – super cute.
Rainbow is now taking pride of place on the end of Missy’s bed, where she has joined many other soft toys that she loves to play with – and she’s fitted in really well!
So whilst this is no ‘real life’ pet horse, it sure comes close to having a pet dream horse, without the job of mucking out – it’s a win win!
Missy loved designing her Dream Pet Horse with Petplan Equine Horse Insurance, whose focus is to keeping the nations horses happy and healthy, just like ourhttps://www.petplanequine.co.uk/ Rainbow. They offer the very best equine insurance policies and their aim is to help owners get their beloved pet horses back to health, following illness or injury. They are also one of the few equine insurance providers to offer genuine ‘lifetime’ policies.
