Disney on Ice: Magical Ice Festival comes to Birmingham

Outside of London, Birmingham is the place to be when it comes to show productions, concerts and conventions.  Living not to far from Resorts World and the National Exhibition Centre, it is obvious that Birmingham is the city to visit when it comes to events.

As a family of 5, we love family days out, and seeing a show is always on the list of things to do in Birmingham.  Being huge Disney fans, it is also really exciting to see that Birminghams Resort Arena is welcoming Disney on Ice: Magical Ice Festival in April this year.  The spectacular Disney show is touring the UK but will skate into Birminghams Resort Arena from Thursday 30th April 2020 – Saturday 2nd May 2020.

This year the ice show will see the return of Moana and Maui on an action packed adventure to return the stolen heart of Te Feti.  We will also see the beautiful sisters that are Anna and Elsa, the hilarious Olaf and Kristoff and Sven from the still popular film Frozen.  The Little Mermaid will also be visiting the Ice with her trusty sidekicks Sebastian and Flounder (one of my favourite childhood favourites!)  And we’ll even get a visit from villian Ursula who happens to be one of my favourite villains!

Tangled made a feature last year and will be returning once again along with Rapunzel and her floating sky lanterns.  And finally, Beauty and the Beast will be there to entertain you and your little ones.  It is sure to be a magical and entertaining show for all the family and we are so excited to visit this year at Resorts World Birmingham!

As always, Disney on Ice promises to be a spectacular show with performances from highly skilled ice skaters and dancers, props and floats and highlighting Disneys enchanting and mystical stories from over the decades.  It aims to grasp the audiences attention and submerge you into a world of Disney and magic, bringing to life your favourite Disney heres and heroines – with a few Villains thrown in to!

This amazing family show is perfect for all ages (even if you haven’t got children!) but is most suitable for children aged over 2 years old. Children under 2 can attend the show without a ticket but must sit on their carers lap.  Children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Hi and welcome to The Willow Tree. I’m Michelle, also known as Shel and I am a mama to three beautiful crazy kids – I have two handsome boys and a wild and wonderful girl.

I really wanted a concrete place to share my love for travel, in particular Disney and offer my readers a chance to gain some knowledge around what we love to do as a family of 5.

I share our family adventures which include days out, travel advice and tips, holiday reviews, restaurant visits and of course, our love for Disney, including Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World.

Life is about creating memories, and here we are sharing them with you

xoxo
