Dressing up this Winter with Femme Luxe Finery

You may have noticed that I have recently been showcasing a few items from Femme Luxe Finery both over on instagram and on my blog.  This clothing brand popped into my life a month or two back and my wardrobe is slowly filling up with lovely items for winter from them.  Having recently shared my faves on chunky knits, this time, I decided to share with you my winter dress haul.   I decided to mix it up a little, wanting to share some jumper dresses as well as ‘going out’ style dresses too.  And with a huge amount to choose from on their website, it wasn’t a hard task to do.

Femme Luxe Finery Haul

Item 1: Mustard Button Detail Wrap Dress £22.99 (sale price)

This caught my eye straight away.  It’s a little different from what I would normally wear but I loved the classy look to the wrap dress.  With the chunky tan buttons against the mustard coloured dress, I thought it looked really autumnal and totally winter, perfect for a girly meal or for a festive afternoon tea!  I decided to team this dress up with brown ankle boots which I think looks great.  It could however be totally worn with stilettos for an evening out.  The sizing is spot on and it even has an elasticated waist, so always a winner if eating out!

Item 2: Metallic Silver Pleated Wrap Dress £24.99

This beautiful mini dress is totally me, and when I saw it I thought it would be perfect for a Christmas night out, or even NYE!  I love the metallic look the material has and although it states silver in the description, I would say it had a pale pink tone to it.  The dress has a little stretch to it, which is perfect for me as I hate anything too tight, with the waist being elasticated it.  I really love the tulip shape to the skirt of the dress which is a little different and looks really chic.  Again, this dress is true to size and fits perfectly and feels comfortable to wear.

Item 3: Grey Knit Block Colour Jumper Dress £17.99

Next up I couldn’t resist this boyfriend fit, grey knit jumper dress. I am really loving oversized tops at the moment (probably as it allows me to hide a multitude of sins!!)  I really like the high neck to the jumper and the white contrasting oversized sleeves.  It feels so comfortable on I just love it!  I have worn this several times now both with black tights/shiny black leggings  and black chunky ankle boots.  You could of course team it with jeans too.  I ordered a S/M and it is perfect size!  This is a great jumper dress is you prefer neutral colours and to keep things simple, yet still embracing a trendy style.

4. Mustard Cable Knit Jumper Dress £22.99

Again, I was drawn to a knit style dress but this time with a hints of autumnal colours.  I seem to be really loving the mustard look this season and decided to go for this cable knit jumper dress in that colour, however it is also available in grey.  When it comes to winter, I hate to feel cold so I was pleased to see that there was a knitted jumper dress to add to my wardrobe collection.  This dress is pretty figure hugging and fits nicely.  Again, I teamed up the dress with shiny leggings and chunky boots.  This dress would look great with a chunky black gillet (on my Christmas list!) so I can’t wait to wear it with that!
