Kids Pyjamas: Jammie Doodles

Oh I love a good set of pyjamas.  If fact, we all do in our house! Jammie Doodles came to our rescue when the kids seemed to have been running low on pyjamas and it was perfect timing really with Christmas.  As I am sure most of you agree, its best to be comfy at home.  Recently, we have come to the agreement that we all love pyjama days all bit a bit too much!

What is Jammie Doodles?

Little did I know that Jammie Doodles actually launched in my own home town, so it felt even more perfect as I always love to support small local business’s and share the love!  Well firstly, what is Jammie Doodles?  Created and launched by Sarah, Jammie Doodles make stylish and contemporary children’s wear and pyjamas.  Sarah is a Mum of two children herself so has the knowledge of what us parents want in a product as well as knowing what looks good on our children, keeping in with current trends and styles.  Sarah designs all of her products which gives that real personal touch which I love and feel is so important for any brand.

What we love…

We were really excited to receive our pyjamas and I decided to keep them a surprise for the children for Christmas Eve.  All three of them were really pleased to see what the Elves have left them as a goodbye present and quickly stripped off and had their new pyjamas on super quick.  I love to co-ordinate the kids clothes and surprisingly they really do not mind either.  So to have all three in the same set of Pyjamas was a real treat and I couldn’t wait to capture them having a ball on Christmas Eve morning with my camera.

These pyjamas are really suited for any time of the year as despite being long sleeved, they are really light and breathable. They are also 100% organic cotton (ideal for keeping kids cool!) so it is really reassuring that the material is kind to their skin, especially as they can be wearing them for up to 12 hours a night (or in our case over Christmas 24 hours a day!)  The material is soft to touch and I think they look really quirky and trendy.

The Mono Striped Pyjamas’ set are made to be a snug fit and have an elastic waistband which in my opinion is perfect as often children’s pyjamas can be too loose around the waistband and can often fall down.  I really love the style too, having the contrasting yellow cuffs and neckline against the black and white strip looks really trendy.

Final Say…

Mr B wore a size 7-8, Miss W wore a size 4-5 and Baby K wore a size 1-2 and all fit perfectly with room for growth too. These set of organic cotton children’s pyjamas are priced at £25 however Jammie Doodles are currently running a January sale and these are now down to only £15!  There are also some other lovely designs from the range to choose from – I love these grey spot pyjama set’s and tempted to get the kids a pair each!

Thanks for reading xxx
