Are you a fan of Crazy Golf? Do you love a great family day out but unsure where to go? Mini Pro Golf Park located in Woverley Kidderminster is a lovely mini golf course just a short drive away from Habberley Trail (another fabulous family day out!)
Mini Pro Golf Park is just one of Kidderminster’s great days out that is perfect for the kids and adults alike! We visited here purely by accident on our way to Habberley Trail and as the kids (and I!) love a good family contest, we pulled over to see if we could squeeze in a round! Thankfully, there is no need to book, so we were happy to take part and offer a review for the blog!
This quaint and family friendly mini golf course is located on Woverley Road right next to the Lock Inn Pub and also next to a small cafe serving cake, drinks and ice cream! Mini Pro Golf Park is signposted easily from the main road with ample parking. However, if needed, you could park in the pub carpark next door. Available is also a light refreshments kiosk serving drinks and ice cream.
Another great family friendly attraction to add to my list, we were pleasantly surprised to see this place not very busy and taking walk in’s. The staff promised they were Covid secure, offering socially distanced areas and offering thorough cleaning of all equipment between use. Of course, as a guest, it is vital to wash your hands and use hand sanitiser also. The attraction also offered hand sanitiser to use if you wished to use this. There was a toilet on site, however it was a portaloo. If that isn’t your vibe, I suggest to visit the pub next door.
This was our first experience of a mini golf course that was on real grass! Immediately, I felt that this family friendly mini golf course stood out from the rest purely for this reason alone! And it was kept immaculate, with various decorative figures and decorations across many of the courses. What I also loved about it here was that it felt real – yes it was a mini golf course suitable for children, but it also attracts adults and professionals too.
Across some of the courses you’ll come across some sand bunkers. We were each provided with a putter, but we also were given a sand wedge (which the kids thought was brilliant!) We could then use this every time the ball went into the sand – which obviously was quite often!
We really loved the gentle quirkiness of this mini golf course. The gardens are extremely well kept and the view around the attraction is beautiful. The kids loved the huge 6ft long steel crocodile and enjoyed fishing for their lost ball in the mini pond! Some of the parks other ‘feature holes’ include The Magic Wizard, The Mindfield and Curse of Easter Island!
So, what is the cost for a family at Mini Pro Golf Park? As of 2020, the prices for an adult stand at £8.95 and for a child, £7.50. A family special is £28.50 which I feel is the going rate for most Crazy golf courses we’ve visited as a family. I felt the value for money was fair and would 100% recommend a trip there, with our without the kids in tow! For further details, check out their website.
