Mint Velvet launches Mintie: clothing for girls

The wonderful and ever so stylish Mint Velvet has been making women’s clothes for over 9 years.  And this Autumn, Mint Velvet launched their children’s wear called Mintie.  This luxury kids wear collection is for Girls aged between 3 years to 10 years old.  If you know Mint Velvet well, you’ll know that the brand offer a relaxed glamour style, giving women the chance to feel comfortable, yet on trend for that current season.  With that in mind, they created the idea of Mintie to allow girls to follow in their mama’s footsteps and be the coolest kid on the block.

I am honoured to have collaborated with Mint Velvet and I am excited for W to showcase some of their gorgeous winter collection!  I have to say, W loves being in front of the camera.  So it was a pretty easy task for her to have her own mini photo shoot sharing these gorgeous items from Mintie.  So let’s get started!

Mint Velvet: Mintie Haul

Blush and Ivory Zig Zag Knit

This jumper is just gorgeous for any little girl this Christmas who wants an understated yet super cute jumper to wear!  It’s super soft with an ivory yoke, separating it from the pink body with a silver zig zag, offering the jumper a bit of glitz.    It is super cosy for those winter days that are approaching and we are loving the turned up sleeves and hints of silver in the zig zag detail!

Grey Reindeer Sweatshirt

Who doesn’t love a reindeer jumper at Christmas?!  This winter, Mintie are offering this gorgeous grey sweatshirt embroidered with the cutest reindeer, who of course is sporting some festive gold metallic sequins.  This jumper is knitted with the same cosy yarns as used in the grown up range.   As it’s grey, it’s a pretty easy jumper to team up with most bottoms – leggings are an easy ‘go to’ to keep it casual or add even more sparkle with a tutu skirt to dress it up.

Dove Sequined Star Tutu Skirt

This is simply stunning!  I am lushing over this skirt as it really is that extra bit special.  This skirt is cut from airy tulle and has pale grey stars scattered all over the material.  Not only does this skirt offer a little festive style but it also has that rock chick feel to it with the added element of stars – We all know Mint Velvet loves stars! I adore the added detail of the frilled hem. W has been in possession of various tutu skirts since the day she was born (some cringe while I embrace it!) but this one really does look impressive – I wonder if Mint Velvet offer it in the grown up collection?!

Black Star Lined Tutu Skirt

Keeping with the theme of skirts, this next one is another winner for us!  This black tutu has a scattering of stars all over it, giving it that fun and edgy vibe that we love. The top of the skirt is black tulle (slightly longer than the lining) with added silver.  The lining is black with silver stars. I think it looks fab with the blush and ivory zig zag knit and I added a black headband to complete the look.

Grey Pom Pom Christmas Knit

Showcasing cute triangle trees with added cute pom poms, this jumper definitely has the fun factor!  We love the contrast of raspberry pink against the grey and the added yellow pom poms and white sequinned stars make it a really cute Christmas knit.

Dove Sequined Star Dress

This beautiful dress from Mintie is definitely W’s Christmas Day outfit.  Just look at the attention to detail!  Offering a subtle tulle skirt, this dress is embroidered with the ever so popular stars we all love and definitely gives it that fairy princess look every little girls wants.  The threaded silver stars are also covered in silver sequins – pure prettiness!

Silver Grey Pom Pom hat and scarf

Oh I love a matching hat and scarf!  This knitted silver grey hat and scarf are super soft and stylish and perfect for those freezing school runs each morning now the frost has appeared.  W love’s the added element of the raspberry pink pom poms – two on the hat and one on each end of the scarf.  The hat is offered in one size that is designed to fit girls aged 5-10 years old but as W is 5 next Spring, this fits her perfect.

Wow, what a haul!  We are so lucky to have W’s wardrobe all set for this Winter season and she is so happy with her items she can wear over Christmas.  She especially loves the skirts as she says she feels like a sparkly princess – I think I’d have to agree!  If you are looking for girls clothes that are that extra bit special with added sparkle and shine, look no further that Mintie by Mint Velvet.  The whole range is just a delight and with extra detail and fabric quality, you get what you pay for.  All of the above items, plus the rest of the AW18 collection can be found on the Mint Velvet website.
