My favourite beauty products for the season

I don’t normally write about beauty, but I thought it may be a good idea to share what I’ve recently been using whilst staying at home.  With being at home so much, I will admit that I haven’t been wearing that much make up and have enjoyed letting my skin breath.  However, I do love a good beauty product and a good pamper, with Bella MedSpa being the type of place I would visit if I wished to have a relax and a treatment!   Since lockdown has eased, I’ve made a bit more of an effort!

So, here is a list of some of my hand picked favourite beauty products for the season!

Aussie Shine On Hair Serum

Ok, I’ll start with my hair.  I normally wear it straight, but I have naturally curly (if not a little frizzy hair!)  Recently Ive been leaving it to dry naturally or french plaiting my hair overnight and letting it out the following day.  So I need a good serum.  And this works perfectly.  Non sticky, with a lovely scent, this Aussie serum is great for my hair and is also great on price too.  I got this from Amazon but I imagine it is sold in most beauty stores.

Tropic Skin Tightening Face Mask

My sister recently became a Tropics Ambassador so it only felt right to being using some of Tropics products.  If you haven’t heard of Tropic, you must have been hiding under a rock!  It’s a completely natural beauty and skin brand, offering simplistic yet beneficial products that work wonders, with some cracking results.  I chose this particular face mask as I am conscious of my skin and any wrinkles I may have. (I may have?!  I DO have!)  This face mask is lovely, setting onto the face after about 5 minutes.  With hints of turmeric (which is fantastic for the skin!) this mask left my skin feeling ultra soft.  I’ve been really impressed.  It’s also really easy to order through the ambassador system too!

False Eyelashes and Storage Case

On a normal night out, I would wear a set of false lashes – my eyes would feel naked without them.  But within the normality of date nights out or meeting up with friends, we’ve had to bring date nights in (wearing comfy lounge wear though right!)  And that doesn’t mean we can’t get glammed up girls!  There are literally all different types of false lashes out there, from subtle feathery lashes to a more darker exaggerated lash.  I’ve also found this super adorable lash storage case which is right up my street and perfect for when life resumes and you may need to take your lashes on a night away!  Having the right glue is also really important.  No one wants to lose a lash into their meal or cocktail!  I can’t rate this Revlon lash glue too!  But if falsies are not your vibe, what about a lash serum to strengthen and lenghten your lashes? This lash serum looks fab!

Bronzing powder and highlighter

The two cannot go without!  I am now on my second pot of W7 Bronzing powder (which I have to note has lasted me months!)  I was recommend this from a beauty sales person, who said it was the closet item to Benefit Hoola Bronzer.  I can’t rate it enough and I’m so glad I’ve found it.  It literally is about £6 making it far cheaper that the Benefit version and also lasts ages too!  The colour is quite a rich shade but I imagine it is offered in different shades.

I am also loving this creamy and shimmery highlighter by The Beauty Crop. It’s easy to apply with a pipet style stick and you only need a slight amount to go along way.  It’s also a lovely shade too.

Neom Sleeping Oil

Finally, I cannot write a beauty product blog post with mentioning my amazing Neom sleep oil.  I’ve been using this oil on and off but have recently been struggling to get to sleep.  This has reappeared back in my life and it honestly really helps me to drop off to sleep.  I simply rub the oil across my pillow, allowing the lavender scent to work its wonders!

And there you have it!  I’ve really enjoyed selecting out my favourite products!  Are there any on my list that you also love?
