Pound Toy Review and Giveaway!

As any parent knows, not matter how much money we earn, we want our kids to be blessed with play.  And more often that not, play does involve toys!  Whether it’s their favourite character cuddly toy or simply the latest kinder egg, we want to be able to give our children a treat!  However, we all know that this can come at a price!  With the latest craze of toys becoming more expensive by the year, it can be tough on us parents to keep up.  So when Pound Toy got in touch to review what toys they had to offer, as well as run a give-away to my readers, I was very excited to explore!

What is Pound Toy

PoundToy is a website offering an array of toys for bargain prices.  It is a family run business with a mission to deliver safe, high quality branded toys at low-cost prices.  The website is very easy to navigate and you can search for your items by using several filters and categories.  Age, gender and price are just a few of the filters on offer.  You can also search by using the toy category menu which is super helpful if you are looking for a particular type of toy.  In terms of price, some of the items started at 50p – I found some perfect little stocking fillers!

The Toys

With less that four months until Christmas, this is the earliest I think I have started to Christmas shop.  Normally, I leave it until December but with three kids, this can result in a nightmare of panic buying!  This year, I am starting early and with £50 to spend at Pound Toy, I aimed to buy something for each of the three kids.

I managed to get A LOT of toys for £50 –  I was amazed that I managed to fill my basket with 16 toys.  I also managed (and totally by fluke by the way) to get an equal amount of toys for all three of my kiddos – result!

For B, who is 8 years old, I purchased:

W

For W who is 4, I ordered:

Baby K

And finally, for Baby K I competed my order with the following:

My verdict of Pound Toy

What works for me is that, not only is this a low cost toy store, but it also sells good quality AND branded toys.  I was amazed at the price of all of the toys and even more surprised when most of them were branded.  I found the website super easy to use and as purchasing for three kids, very handy to be able to use the array of filters on offer to better my search for toys.  As you can see from this post, I got a massive amount of toys for £50 which makes me happy.  I actually cannot believe I have started my Christmas shopping (huge pat on the back for me!)
