Prestige Hampers – Review

I don’t think you can think about Christmas and not think about Christmas hampers.  The two go hand in hand right!? Totally!  It is now early November and I have spotted several hampers in the supermarkets and stores already!  They are always full of delicious treats – jams, crackers, crisps, alcoholic treats, yummy tasty chocolate – things we just love at Christmas time!

Christmas hampers have definitely evolved over the last few years and now we can get our hands on pretty much any kind of hamper.  Prestige Hampers offer just that – a huge array of different style of hampers in different shapes and sizes.  Literally, if your after a particular hamper, you’ll find it at Prestige!

When Prestige Hampers got in touch sharing there range of luxury hampers with me, I was delighted to be given the opportunity to review one at home with my family.  And even better that I actually had never brought or received a hamper before – I was super excited!

Our Prestige Hamper – ready for Christmas

Prestige Hampers sent out one of their luxury hampers for me to check out and share with you guys on my blog.  I visited their website prior to receiving the hamper, wondering which one would arrive – their was literally too many to choose from.  A few days later, a lovely hamper arrived on my doorstep and I recognised it from the website straight away – it was called the Fabulous Christmas Hamper and looked full of treats!  What I especially loved about the hamper was its tall wicker box with its leather lock detail.  Perfect to store other items in once we’ve devoured the contents!

Inside was hamper was the following:

  1. Matthew Walker Luxury Christmas Pudding
  2. Christmas preserve with mulled wine
  3. Christmas marmalade with cranberries
  4. Founders Stone Merlot 187 ml
  5. Founders Stone White Zinfandel 187 ml
  6. Founders Stone Sauvignon Blanc 187 ml
  7. Belgium Fancy Champagne Truffles
  8. Belgium Chocolate thins
  9. Black Olive Savoury Biscuits
  10. Natural Sea salt Yorkshire crisps
  11. Ohh! Chocolate – Creamy White chocolate with crunchy Honeycomb Bites
  12. English Afternoon Tea Yellow Clock

Wow – what a feast we were about to face!  The hamper was jam packed and I loved the mix of sweet and savoury (and of course the luxury of wine included too!)  All the items were safely packed inside the hamper with crinkled tissue paper and looked so impressive once we opened it all out.  I was very impressed!  We’ve opened several of the items already and I have been enjoying a cup of Afternoon tea every day – very tasty!  We also love the caramel chocolate thins, which are completely more-ish and I cannot leave them alone!  We are going to save the rest of the items for December where we can really let loose – of course I am opening the wine first!

When visiting the website, you will see that Prestige Hampers offer an array of hampers, from christmas hampers, sweet, savoury to alcoholic!  There really is a hamper for everyone, and prices start from as little as £19.99.  If you are working on a budget, Prestige offer letterbox hampers too, which are on the smaller side and can be delived straight through someones letter box – genius!

So if you are thinking of a hamper for that special someone this Christmas, head on over to Prestige Hampers to check out what they have on offer!

Love wine but don’t like the nasties?!! Check out my review here of Slimline wine.
