September wear for 2021

Well this September has been misleading hasn’t it.  I have fully expected to go into autumnal mode for the new season but with the warm air, humidity and sun shining for most of September, I feel that we have had an extended summer.  With that in mind, I wanted to show you my clothing favourites that have continued to remain in my wardrobe.

The first item are these high waisted distresses and ripped shorts from the shorts collection at Femme Luxe.  These have been perfect for popping on with an oversized Tee, especially on days when I have been working from home and a pair of joggers have been too warm to wear.  I love the high waisted look and how it sucks me all in!  I’ve chose to wear these casually but I can imagine that these would look great with a pair of heels and a t-shirt/top tucked in for an evening out. Or perfect for any late festivals that may be on for the remainder of the year!  The sizing is small for these, so I would suggest to size up.

Second on my list is this oversized T-shirt dress.  This brightly coloured Guns ‘N’ Roses Dress is loosely fitted and isn’t too short, meaning it can be worn as a dress.  If you’d prefer, then this could also be worn as a T-shirt, adding a belt to hitch it up and a pair of jeans or shorts.  The colours are actually really autumnal and perfect for those days we are currently experiencing.  Indian summer wear eat your heart out!

Next on my list, is this comfortable oversized (see the theming here!?) shacket, which took the fashion industry by storm this summer.  These shackets are a perfect combination of a shirt style jacket and this design is lovely.  I love the pale lilac and purple tones and I normally wear it over the top of a cami tucked into jeans. I’ve also had lots of lovely comments about it too!

Finally I wanted to mention this two piece lounge wear item.  This is knitted in pale blue and is off the shoulder.  I have been wearing this on the evening whilst at home, perfect for a comfy night in watching a movie.  The off the shoulder look offers a subtle sexy feel but still remaining ultra comfy.  The draw string waist is perfect if you wish to loosen after eating a takeaway!

Overall, I have loved my latest collection from Femme Luxe and think these pieces could stick around for the next month or two, in particular the shacket which will see me through the cooler days and evenings ahead.  The shorts will be perfect for a October half term break away if your heading to a warmer climate.  If not, they’ll be perfect for next summer!

Which piece is your favourite?
