My-picture.co.uk and How to Showcase Memories

If you know me well, you’ll know that I not only love to take photographs, but I also love to display them. Thanks to My-picture.co.uk, I have been able to showcase one particular memory on our lounge wall, which I just love!

Our house is full of photos in frames and many canvases fill up the shelves and the walls.  It’s a bit of an obsession of mine –  I not only love to capture these treasured memories but I also hate to forget.  So taking photos, for me, is a great way for the memories to stay alive.  My Picture.co.uk is  a website to help these memories stay alive within your home!

My-picture.co.uk – what is it?

My-picture is a website that offers you many ways to display your photos.  They provide an array of canvas’, framed prints, photos on blankets and mugs – you name it, they can do it!  When My-picture approached me to work with them, I was thrilled as I had just had a cake smash photo shoot done with Baby K and knew I wanted a photo to be displayed somewhere in our home.

My-picture.co.uk is a great website to visit if you require purchasing that special gift for someone as they dedicate a whole section to photo gifts.  Personalisation is a big hit in our house – we have so much personalised items with our names or photos on.  I particularly love the photo puzzle and the personalised children’s book!

Another great item I came across when perusing their website was the photo blanket.  It comes in three sizes and is odourless, safe for the entire family and is cold machine washable (30 °C).  What a great idea for a gift!  They also offer your print on a cushion or an acrylic block.

I chose to go with a framed photo with Passe Partout.  It really stood out for me and I was impressed with the details suggested.  Each passe-partout is made out of high-quality white museum card stock. The oblique cut of each passe-partout is particularly outstanding, giving the photo depth and drawing the viewer’s eye to it.  This all sounded impressive to me!!  So I ordered the size 60×40 as I knew the exact spot where I wanted it to go in my lounge.  These frames range from 20×20 all the way up to 80×60!  And there is a great range of coloured frames to choose from.  I went with white for its simplicity and to match our lounge decor.

Delivery was super quick and I was so impressed with the quality of print and frame.  The frame is super sturdy yet with a light feel and the glass is glossy made out of acrylic.  I am so happy with the final finish, and it looks super lovely on my lounge wall.
