Supporting Small Businesses featuring The Grey Company Interiors

One thing I have learnt about being a blogger is the important of supporting small businesses.  As my blog is my own business, I now realise how tough it really is to create a name for yourself.  To promote, create, network, and put the hours in – the really is a very long list!!!  Over the past 11 months, I have really been exposed to so many small businesses in many niches, and it really is wonderful to see so many that are successful, offering such lovely items.

Today, I want to share with you my sister’s new business The Grey Company Interiors!  She launched her interior business a few months ago and over that time, I have loved supporting her, with sharing posts, helping out at local fetes and markets and just generally having them ‘biz chats!’  The Grey Company Interiors offer luxury but affordable items for your home.  Such items include luxury vegan candles, ornaments, bedlinen and as we are now in the festive season, luxury Christmas items.

So, today I have picked my favourites out of all the range that The Grey Company interiors offer, to show you what I love and hopefully inspire you to check out her website!  I have even added some gorgeous stylish Christmas decorations to the mix!

First off, I am sharing this stunning Christmas Wreath.  This wreath is a little bit different to what you normally expect from a wreath.  It’s fun and colourful, with a shabby meets chic feel to it.  I love it as it really stands out from the rest.  This is priced at £32 and there is now only one left in stock – its a popular one this year!

Another favourite of mine are these feather baubles for decorating your Christmas tree.  The Grey Company Interiors makes these to order but there is some in stock if you wish to purchase to fill up them gaps on your Christmas Tree.  I love big baubles as they are really effective and stand out.  Over the years, more and more of us are styling our trees to look stylish and fashionable and these beautiful decorations will sure add to a glamorous festive Christmas Tree.

This stag decoration is just so cute!  It is hand painted in dove grey with the addition of silver glitter covering his antlers.  Again, this is a simple but stunning decorative ornament that could be up all year round!  He is pretty big too, being 20 cms in height and 24 cm in width.  He is priced up at £10.

I am in love with this Christmas garland.  Actually, you could have it up all winter!  The garland features 7 3.5 inch hearts in red and white design, which offer a star and snowflake pattern.  In-between each heart there is 6 roses in silver taffeta, which really add that shabby chic feel.  The garland is approx 129 cm in length – perfect to put up in your kitchen or over a large mirror in your dining area.  This one has been a real hit!  Priced at only £15 I think this is a steal.

My final Christmas themed item is this snowflake detailed hand towel.  At only £7, this is a lovely addition to any bathroom that needs to be given a little bit of a festive makeover.  Or if your looking for a secret Santa gift, or something to bulk up a present, this is lovely.

Other items I love from The Grey Company Interiors

If you don’t fancy a festive garland, then The Grey Company Interiors also offers this beautiful garland in grey and white. Keeping with a similar design to the last one shown, it offers alternative hearts and roses but this time the hearts are a spotted design. This could be perfect in any room of the home, and even included in your baby’s nursery would make a lovely addition.  Priced at £15.

Now this is luxury in a jar!  I ADORE the smell of this candle – as soon as the lid is removed the smell hits you before it is even lit.  This is a hand poured vegan friendly candle and its scent is Pomelo and Basil with notes of Lemon and sweet Pink Grapefruit with hints of Jasmine.  It has a burning time of 45 hours, so this will really last – a perfect Christmas gift at only £18.

Who doesn’t love a bit of bling on a teatowel!  These are just lovely and at only £7 for a pack of two, you really cant go wrong.  I love the extra detail The Grey Company Interiors offer with the natural jute string.

The next two items are lovely hanging hearts but are offered in two designs – the first is bees in a dove grey and the second is pink flamingos – which everyone seems to love at the moment.  Each come in a pack of three hearts and are a lovely addition to a bathroom or bedroom.  Each heart is approx 8inches and when hung, the bee hearts are 35 cms and the flamingos are 37 cms.   Both sets are priced at £7.
