Living only just a few miles away from Resort’s World Birmingham, I am there a lot. Whether it is for a cinema trip, to peruse the shops or for dinner, I love the diversity it has to offer. Situated next to the NEC and Bear Grylls Adventure, Resorts World is now home to The Beauty Outlet, a store that offers Beauty gurus (or just a simple Mama like me!) a delicious and diverse range of products.
Being a Mama to three children, I have to say that I do not purchase very expensive products when it comes to make up, but I do prefer organic and natural when I have the option. Do not get me wrong, I love to wear it. Fake lashes, highlighter, lipstick – I love it all. But I don’t spend a fortune. I am quite happy with highstreet brands with the odd indulgence from time to time. The Beauty Outlet Resorts World, therefore is a match made in heaven for me! Beauty products on offer for the fraction of the price?! I am one happy customer!
Upon entering the store, I was amazed to see that it was literally jam packed with beauty items. Items ranged from a nail varnish and nail care bar, an eyelash wall, hair and skincare, perfumes (and aftershaves for the men!) and every item you could literally dream off to complete your daily make up regime. Myself and my sister have a tour of the store by the lovely Manager, Stacey. She showed us each section and selected a few favourites and popular buys for us to explore. It was overwhelming how much was on offer, the store hadn’t missed anything off the beauty list in my opinion!
When walking around, I really liked the lay out of the store. It was really easy to navigate yourself around and find the items you needed. As you entered the store, there was a bath bomb section and even a beauty bar where you could take time out to apply samples to your skin. There was also a lovely gift range to chose from and an array of beauty and skin care advent calendars. This store has literally thought of it all!
This store’s main brand is W7, however there is an array of beauty items from different brands including Bedhead, L’Oreal, Rimmel, Clarins, Elizabeth Arden and Stilla to name a few. We had an opportunity to chose some items from the store and must of spend over an hour testing out the items and really experiencing a true beauty shopping trip!
As you can see from the photo above, I spent a good time choosing an array of products. Many of these items were recommended by the store manager which was super helpful, and other items were items I already loved or knew of. One particular item I was to talk about is the Secret Tropic Bath salts. They not only smell incredible (they come in two scents of raspberry sandalwood and coconut) but they also help with bloating which I suffer with each month! I cannot wait to give these a try! I also love the glittered vanity case which conveniently is able to hold all my new items!
As I mentioned, W7 is a brand that is sold across the whole store. I received a lovely goody bag with some essential items in, offered by the brand. I have a contour kit, camouflage concealer kit, three nail varnishes, powder brush, mascara, eyeliner and concealer pencil and loose powder. The products are of great quality and the camouflage kit offers great extra coverage for my mama eye bags!
We then finished off our visit to The Beauty Outlet Resorts World Birmingham with a lovely lunch at Waters Restaurant which is has a wonderful ambience and a delicious Sunday three course meal on offer for only £25.
S if you live local to Resorts World Birmingham or happen to be visiting the NEC soon for a show, make sure you head over to The Beauty Outlet and check out the vast amount of beauty essentials they have on offer in store – you will not be disappointed!
