The Selfie Bag *Review*

I really enjoy taking photos and as it is also part of this blog and keeping my social media alive (I have a love hate relationship with socials!) I love anything that can support my blog journey.  Putting together content is no easy feat.  Unless you know what goes on behind the scenes to get that perfect blog post, social media reel or Facebook post, you don’t realise how much effort it takes to get all aspects right, including the photographs!

We were sent out the Selfie Bag from Cotton Bag Co to review and I thought this was a great opportunity to see what else can help support some of my photography skills (or lack of might I add!)  So, with all that being said, let’s look at what the Selfie Bag contains and what are thoughts are.

What is included in the Cotton Bag Co Selfie Bag?

First off, whilst you might be interested to see what is in the bag, let’s look at the actual bag itself!  The bag is canvas style and a reasonably good size! On the bag there is some unique eye patterns which look pretty cool (I can imagine this bag being used by someone who loves to spend time in coffee shops!) Unlike most canvas bags you see, this one has a zip which I think is super useful as I hate any bag that doesn’t offer a closed top!  It just makes your items feel more secure when out and about.  There is also plenty of space in the bag for lots of gubbins.

Inside the actual bag you will find:

– Bluetooth Tripod Selfie Stick

– Pop up reflector

LED Ring Light

I hate to admit it, but I have NEVER used an LED ring light!  So I was impressed to see that one was included inside the selfie bag.  As I use my mobile phone to take photos everywhere I go, the size of this led ring light was the perfect size to use on my phone.  It is a perfect fit onto my Iphone Max X (and imagine it would fit most other mobile phones) and it is also small enough to carry around with ease.

The Led ring light is really easy to use and has three different light settings depending on what light you are taking a photo/filming in.  Super impressive!

The Bluetooth selfie stick

It’s been a long while since I have used a selfie stick to be honest!  The craze of these beauties died down quite quickly all them years ago so I was interested to see how this one would compare.  This time round, downloading an app to support the selfie feature is required (which is really easy and quick to do) and the added feature of the tripod makes it a really good addition to the selfie bag!  This is perfect to use when your out and about solo and want to get a photo of yourself not in selfie mode and also group family shots too – saves having to ask someone to take one for you!

Pop up reflector

This is super handy and as it is on the smaller size, its great for carrying around.  It also comes in its own mini bag too so easy to pop into your bag.  This is a great addition for when I am taking shots of items at home especially when the lighting is really tricky and I need some extra reflection to add to the image.
