Top 5 Buffet restaurants at Disneyland Paris

We love a buffet restaurant at Disneyland Paris.  As a family of 5, it totally works for us.  Especially as under 3’s eat for free.  Not only that, but most of the buffet restaurants at Disneyland Paris are themed and all are very varied, fun and of course, you can eat as much as you want!  Buffet restaurants are also great for the kids.  Our eldest loves to search whats on offer and makes some great choices with what he wants to eat.  It also gives the kids the opportunity to be independent in their food choices and makes dining out at Disneyland Paris that bit more exciting.  We’ve managed to visit most of the buffet restaurants whilst at Disneyland Paris, but some are better than others!  So, here are my top 5 buffet restaurants we love at Disneyland Paris.

Inventions – Premium dining plan

I’m starting off with the best of the best!  The cream of the crop!  We’ve been lucky enough to visit Inventions twice now and we absolutely LOVE it.  It’s a buffet restaurant located in the Disneyland Hotel and is also a character restaurant.  This is one of the premium restaurants located at Disneyland Paris and is included in the premium dining plan.  However, if you are on a standard or plus dining plan, you can still visit and pay the difference.  We first visited this restaurant in 2016 and fell in love with it, so it was a real treat for us to get to visit again in 2020.  This buffet restaurant is beautiful.  The array of food is plentiful ranging from breads, meats and cheeses, a whole host of seafood and various mains including meat, vegetarian and fish.  The restaurant is located opposite Disneyland Hotel’s Cafe Fantastia Bar and overlooks the entrance to Disneyland Resort.  If you time your meal right, you can even watch Illunimations from a window seat.  This restaurant has around 6-7 characters meet and greet whilst you dine.  During our last trip to Inventions, we met Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofey Pinocchio, Gepetto and Tigger.

It really is a wonderful experience and is 100% worth the money (it’s quite pricey!) Without the dining plan, the price for a family of 5 is around 300Euros.

Le Grange at Billy Bobs Country Western Saloon – Standard dining plan

If you love Tex Mex, then this is the buffet for you.  Le Grange at Billy Bobs is located in Disney Village, right above Billy Bobs Bar and next to Starbucks.  The restaurant offers all the exciting Tex Mex food you may love, including corn bread, fajitas, chilli and ribs.  The desserts speak volumes at this buffet restaurant, where they have cookies, mini cupcakes, brownies and so much more!  They also offer loads of fruit too and ice-cream galore!  We love this fun restaurant and the location is brilliant if you fancy a buffet restaurant outside of the hotels and parks.   We have eaten here twice and have enjoyed both experiences each time.  But be warned, the restaurant does have a strange smell on arrival.  Wonder what it is?  As the restaurant is located near the stadium for Mickeys and Minnies Wild West Show, you are quite close to the horses.  And thats the smell.  You cannot smell it in the main restaurant, so fear not.

Plaza Gardens – Standard dining plan

Located smack bang in the centre of Disneyland Park, this is a perfect buffet restaurant to please all.  It’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a huge variety across their buffet selection.  Think salads, cold meats, pizza and roast chicken.  The restaurant is quite large and has a New England theming, with smaller rooms located off the main restaurant.  We have enjoyed several character breakfasts here (note, it’s only breakfast that the characters are here) and also lunch and dinner across our visits to Disneyland Paris.  I would recommend having breakfast here as it’s lovely to dine and meet the characters.  The food is also fab, with Mickey Waffles, fresh fruit and a hot buffet.  But we also love dining here for lunch and dinner.  Despite their being no characters, the wonderful food makes up for it!

Cafe Agrabad – Standard dining plan

If you want to be close to dining in the land of Adventure, then look no further.  This is Cafe Agrabad, the buffet restaurant located in Advenuture land and themed on Morocco.  The theming here is great.  Imagine dining outside the streets of Agrabad, with outdoor seating and trinkets lining the walls.  All thats missing is the stray cats!  Seriously though, if you are looking for a buffet restaurant with an Eastern vibe, this is the place to be.  The food again is varied, with foods on offer such as hommous, flat breads and chargrilled chicken.  The flat breads are amazing here and we love having a cuisine to dine on that you perhaps wouldn’t expect at Disneyland Paris.  We love it!

Cape Cod – Plus dining plan

Finally, I want to talk about Cape Cod.  This buffet restaurant is located at Newport Bay, so it perfect to visit if you are staying at this resort.  However, even if you are not and are staying elsewhere, you can still visit this restaurant.   This buffet restaurants theming is inline with the hotels theme and has that nautical New England feel.  The food on offer is plentiful with the likes of pate, prawn cocktails and many main courses to chose from, such as fish, pasta and meats.  The restaurant is open all day for breakfast lunch and dinner (please check times) and it a lovely place to visit for some fish!
