Top Bars in Disneyland Paris

We’ve not long returned from our fourth trip to Disneyland Paris as a family of 5.  Some of you may be questioning the title: Top Bars in Disneyland Paris?  Disneyland Paris is so much more that rides; its the food, the hotels, the characters and yes, even the bars!  Dont get me wrong, it’s not at the forefront of our Disney holidays, but on some evenings of our Disney stay, we enjoy relaxing in a bar with a cocktail in hand.

So, if your seeking a little alcohol during your Disneyland Paris trip, or simply want to visit a bar to relax, check out below my top bars in Disneyland Paris!

Redwood Bar – Sequoia Lodge

Redwood Bar is located in Sequoia lodge and is the perfect place to grab a cocktail whilst staying at Disneyland Paris.  This bar is quite large, with a huge roaring log fire in the centre.  As the hotel is themed on a lodge (and includes little nods to Bambi) this bar is nothing short from what I imagine a bar to look like in a hotel up in the Rockies.  Complete with dark woods, autumnal tones and comfy sofas, this bar is one of my favourites to relax in after a long day in the parks.  The highlight for me has to be the roaring log fire, making this Disney bar give off a really homely feel.

Cafe Fantasia Bar – Disneyland Hotel

It’s our Disneyland Paris holiday tradition to have a relax in the Disneyland Hotel bar, named Cafe Fantasia.  This is a beautiful bar located on the second floor of the Disneyland hotel, a short walk away from their boutique store.  The bar is elegant, enchanting and boasts a lovely curved bar with comfortable seating surrounding.  The bar is themed on Fantasia, so there are several subtle references throughout, including the most wonderful wallpaper covered in musical notes.

The bar floats into the lobby area where the entrance to the hotels two restaurants are located; Inventions and California Grill.  Here is just as relaxing, where you’ll find a pianist playing your favourite Disney tunes.  Note, if you are not dining in Inventions but fancy seeing some characters, have a drink in the bar area around 5.45pm shortly before Inventions opens.  You may see several characters making their way into the restaurant!

You will find the menu similar to all the other bar menus across Disneyland Land Paris, but this will be the most expensive bar across the resort, with a glass off champagne costing 19 Euros.

Sports Bar

Disney’s American Sports bar is located in Disney Village and is the perfect place if you or a guest of your family fancy a break from the parks without returning to your hotel.  The Sports Bar offers drinks, light meals and a place to put up your feet, relax and watch some sport.  The place isn’t too big inside, but it has a large outdoor area (with heaters in the winter) and a huge screen to watch the latest game.  Prices are also quite reasonable here.

Billy Bobs Country West Saloon

I would say this is a popular bar in Disneyland Paris for those who seek a a little bit of nightlife.  This bar is located on the ground floor of the Billy Bobs Country West Buffet and is located in Disney Village. Hosting a large stage, this bar is home to many evenings of live music and delicious cocktails, complete with a large dance floor.

You can check out who is playing during your Disneyland Paris holiday by checking out their What’s on Guide located outside of the bar.  Whilst your there, why don’t you check out Billy Bobs Buffet – it’s delicious!

Captains Quarters

I would say the bar located in Newport Bay is one of the quietest bars across Disneyland Paris resort.  This themed bar has a subtle nautical feel with views across the Disney lake.  This is the perfect location if you fancy sitting back into a dark leather armchair and sip on a beer to finish off your Disney day.

So there you have it!  My top bars in Disneyland Paris.  Whether your simply after a break from the parks, a relax with family or want to know where the nightlife is at in Disneyland Paris, this list should help with your next Disneyland Paris trip!
