For a while now I have been looking at smart watches. I’ve had many branded watches over the years but I’ve never ventured over to the ‘smart side’ shall I say. I’ve admired from afar, but I couldn’t really justify the price when I knew that potentially it might not live up to the hype.
When I saw that there were many budget smart watches on the market, it made me think that going smart might be the answer. BUT, would a budget smart watch match up to its branded competition? Let’s read on to find out!
The MISIRUN UHOOFIT P41 was kindly sent out to us to review, to offer our readers an honest opinion about what we thought. As soon as I saw the packaging and opened the box, I was hopeful that this was exactly what I was looking for.
First of all – the fit and look. Before I began charging the watch I tried it on. The strap is soft to touch but still feels robust and durable. As this is brand new, I cannot comment on how long the strap will last, but it looks to be study and will stand the test of time. The watch comes in two colours: black and pink. Whilst I really liked the black, the pink looked a really inviting colour and would compliment my skin tone.
It also looks exactly the same as an Apple Watch – to look at I really cannot tell the difference.
The watch face is a good size (approx 46mm x 38.8) with a depth of 10.5mm. The watch face has a silver rim which I really like, with a magnetic charging space at the back of the touchscreen face.
I had no idea how easy it was to set up a smart watch! I simply began charging the smart watch and then downloaded the app that syncs the watch to your phone. The app is called Da Fit and it was super simple and easy to download. Once you download the app from either Google Play or the App Store, you can add your profile and then begin to customise your watch!
This watch has a load of features similar to it’s competitors which is just amazing! One feature that I love is the ‘create a design’ face which you can do by adding your own photo to the app to use. Whilst it only allows one photo at a time, it’s not much of an issue. There is also some lovely seasonal watch faces to use too if you don’t fancy using a photo!
You can also change the text colour and what you wish to be displayed on the home screen such as time, step count etc.
Something that you can change on the app is your notifications. For example, you can enable or disable what you wish to be alerted about on your watch such as your mail notifications, Watsapp, messenger, phone calls and any social media accounts. As well as this, you can set an alarm!
The smart watch also has a remote camera (which I was not expecting!) It’s really simple to use by activating the shake camera function on the app followed by a shake of the smart watch to take a photo!
The MISIRUN UHOOFIT P41 watch comes with a whole host of uses which is just amazing and so beneficial to track certain aspects of your life. Here is what is included:
– Training and Sport modes (which can be amended and changed in the app to suit your training needs. There is 8 sport modes in total including walking, running, badminton, cycling, skipping, football, basketball, swimming)
– Music control
– Full-day Heart Rate
– Step count
– Drink Water reminder
– Move Reminder
– Weather report
– Physiological Cycle Reminder (including pregnancy, menstrual and gender health)
You can also make several changes to how you wish to view your watch, including:
– Time Formats
– Unit Format (Celsius or Fahrenheit)
– Language
– Auto Lock
– Waterproof (do not use in hot water or sea water)
– Sleep Monitor
– Extra long battery life (7 full days)
Another extra feature that is included on this budget smart watch is ‘Find Device’, which gives a vibration if you ever lose it!
Overall I am really impressed with this budget smart watch from MISIRUN. It looks and feels great and offers a whole host of features and uses for a budget price of £33.99! For a price this cheap, I wouldn’t expect so many features but there really is everything that you need if you wish to monitor certain aspects of your health and fitness. I really like the vibrant function when a notification pops up. The watch also saves the most recent messages too which is great if you need to recheck information. I’ve also found it really interesting to monitor my sleep and heart rate which I have never done before. It is also super simple to keep on track of my step count – something I need to increase!
Overall, a huge thumbs up from me!
